In the event of changing weather or stronger winds, you can quickly deploy the three pivoting aluminum poles and adjust the height with the quick lock system. For serious weather conditions, simply secure the stakes with the para-cord and set up the optional enclosure shelter to be ready for even the most severe storms. When it's time to pack up, the awning breaks down easily and fits securely into a 1000g PVC cover for storage. The awning measures 240 inches x 157 inches x 88.5 inches when open, and 88 inches x 7 inches x 6 inches when closed.

Included with the awning are 6 built-in aluminum rafters, 6 aluminum poles (3 pivoting and telescoping, 3 telescoping), 6 sets of shock cord, 6 heavy-duty stakes, a travel cover, 3 mounting brackets with hardware, and a nylon reinforced tie-down kit. The awning is compatible with anything with a factory or aftermarket roof rack, but please ensure the rack's weight capacity beforehand. Installation is straightforward and will accommodate most factory and aftermarket racks.
